Each player
MUST be an active account player.
An active account player is one who has an open
account and has complied with Oregon Racing
Commission rules on opening accounts, including a
$50 initial deposit and draft authorization or
EZmoney form on file.
Register early for new accounts,
don't be left out of the contest.

Each Entry fee is $100.
Purse is based on 100% of entry fees.
The contest is Guaranteed for a $10,000 purse.

100% percent of the entry fees will be paid out to
contestants.
-
One entry per account.
-
The total purse over $10,000 will be made up by
entry fees. There will be no added money unless
announced.
-
Each contestant will select one horse in each race.
-
Horse selection(s) for each race set will appear as
a confirmation page that displays the selections.
-
To see a history of your selections you will be
asked for a handle (nickname) and account number.
-
The horse selections in standings will not be
displayed until after the points are assigned
following the race.
-
No points are awarded if the race does not run.
-
The entry form for each race will not change after
posting unless an obvious error occurred in the
original form.

The selected horse must start, there will be no
points awarded for entry mates. Alternates will be
listed if they are entered at the time the form is
loaded into the contest system. Alternates will be
designated as (AE).

Runners will be available for selection soon after
tote opens on the day of each race.

All times are Eastern Standard times.
-
Races over two days of the weekend will have
separate entries for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
beginning and ending at the times specified above.

The contest will cover 18 races over 8 weeks of
races.
-
Each contestant picks one (1) horse for each
designated race.
-
Each Win will be worth 5
points, Place 3 points, and
Show 1 point.
All dead heats count for full point value.

The post-time favorite will be substituted for the
scratched horse, determined by the Win Pool at the
host track.

The overall winner
also receives entry into the Coast
Casinos Horse Player World Series in Las
Vegas on January 17 - 20:
Airfare, Hotel, and ground
transportation for January 17 - 20.

Roundtrip Airfare will be
determined by the lowest single ticket
from the nearest metropolitan airport
within the continental United States as
determined by AmericaTab with the
destination to Las Vegas, NV. The amount
of each roundtrip fare will be deposited
into the accounts of the winner.
Additional flight services which may
include non-stop service, cabin
upgrades, or additional passengers are
the responsibility of the winner. Due to
security precautions in airline travel
each winner is responsible for booking
his or her own flight.

Hotel and ground transportation
will be arranged by AmericaTab with a
single room hotel. Additional guests are
the responsibility of the winner.

Contestants may enter any week during the
contest. There are a total of 90 points possible
in the 8 week period of races.

All point totals will be carried over week-to-week
and totaled. Failure to log in on any given day will
forfeit the rights to picks on those races.

The contestant with the MOST points at the end of
the contest (September, 4 2006) will be declared the
Winner.
-
Employees, contractors, and consultants of
AmericaTab, and their family members are not
eligible to participate.

The six places may be determined by a tiebreaker on
the last week. For instance, If there is a tie for
first place the winner of the tiebreaker will take
over as the winner of first place. The person tied
for first will drop to second. The remaining tiers
will move down one place.

Tiebreaker -
In the event there is a tie
between two or more players, the following tie
breakers will be used (in order): most winners, most
top two finishers, most top three finishers, highest
accumulative win payoff as reported by the host
track, highest accumulative place payoff as reported
by the host track, and highest accumulative show
payoff as reported by the host track. If the tie is
unbroken the next set of tiebreakers will be used
(in order): most top 4 finishers, most top 5
finishers, most top 6 finishers, most top 7
finishers, most top 8 finishers, most top 9
finishers, most top 10 finishers, most top 11
finishers, most top 12 finishers, etc. If there is
still a tie each winner in the tie will share the
prize equally.

Contest Suspension for Game
Failures -
In the event any
portion of this Promotion is compromised by virus,
bugs, non-authorized human intervention, hackers or
other causes beyond the control of AmericaTab or
affiliates, which, in the sole opinion of AmericaTab,
corrupts, or impairs the administration, security,
fairness or proper play of the Game, AmericaTab
reserves the right to suspend or terminate all or
part of the contest.

AmericaTab and any affiliated companies are not
responsible for any entry, which is generated by
computer hardware or software, malfunction, error or
failure, or is tampered with or subject to any
non-authorized human intervention.

Taxes -
Each winner is responsible for
paying any and all taxes on any prize(s) won and
must authorize the deduction of such taxes from the
prize(s) to the extent required by law.

Each contestant agrees that AmericaTab and/or its
respective affiliates has the right to use their
name or likeness in any promotional announcement.

Each contestant has acknowledged that they have read
the rules posted.

Oregon Racing Commission Rules will be used for any
racing rule that is not listed here.

Disputes -
All disputes must be submitted in writing and in the
office of AmericaTab by 5 p.m. (ET), Monday,
following each race weekend. Disputes should be
submitted by eMail to contest@americatab.com or sent
to Summer Signature Contest Director, AmericaTab,
P.O. Box 1104, Grove City, OH 43123. Disputes will
not be considered if submitted by telephone.

All decisions by Judges are final.

The prize money will be deposited into the winners'
accounts.

The contest will be confirmed and final on Monday,
September 4th, 2006. The winners will be notified by
eMail and will be announced on that day with the
nicknames of the winners.
